PRIVACY POLICY

RESPONSIBLE

MARANT WEDDINGS, is responsible for the personal data it has collected or that it collects from its customers, its suppliers or any other natural person, the use given to them and their due protection. In this context and in accordance with the provisions of Articles 15 and 16 of the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (as well as its Regulations and other applicable guidelines) informs you through this privacy notice, about the characteristics and purposes of the treatment that will be given to your personal data.

PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED AND PURPOSE

The personal data that MARANT WEDDINGS obtains, stores and uses from its customers, suppliers and / or candidates to fill any vacancy it has available are provided voluntarily by you for purposes of the relationship that originates or may originate between the parties.

Consequently, such personal data are collected solely and exclusively for the following purposes:

  1.  PRIMARY:

(I)    internal control including reporting on the situation and status of the matters that are carried on its behalf or by its assignment,

(II)    fiscal and/or billing,

(III)   to respond to your questions and comments sent to us through our website; and

(IV)   if it is your C.V., to establish contact for possible recruitment, selection and/or hiring processes.

  1. SECONDARY:

(I)    commercial and/or marketing purposes including the delivery of information on services and events and the delivery of our newsletter; and.

(II)   statistical purposes.

For the aforementioned purposes, the personal data collected and/or to be collected will be:

  • IDENTITY: name, nationality, date and place of birth, age, sex, marital status, names of family members, dependents and beneficiaries, federal taxpayer registry (RFC), unique population registry code (CURP), home phone, cell phone and email, in the case of candidates to occupy a position in our firm, social security number.
  • SCHOOL: educational background, degrees, affiliations, professional credentials, certificates and recognitions among others.
  • LABOR: position, work address, telephone, facsimile and work e-mail, work and personal references.
  • PATRIMONIAL AND/OR FINANCIAL: information on bank accounts and/or payment methods. 


In accordance with article 8 of the Law, we require your express consent for the processing of your personal data of a «financial and patrimonial» nature. If you do not express your opposition to the processing of your personal data of a financial and/or patrimonial nature, it will be understood that you give us your consent since these will have the purpose established in section IV of article 10 of the Law.
You may express your refusal regarding the processing of your personal data for secondary purposes within 5 (five) business days after you have delivered your data, by sending an email to our privacy department:

contacto@marantweddings.com , in such case your data will be included in a list of exclusion of use for secondary purposes.

SECURITY MEASURES

MARANT WEDDINGS and all its staff recognize the importance of proper treatment for your personal data and, as a result, have implemented various controls and security measures that allow such personal data retain their confidentiality and prevent both unauthorized access or use and possible damage, loss or alteration to them.

TRANSFERS

The personal data collected by MARANT WEDDINGS are not shared or transferred to third parties except for those that were required by federal or local authorities, those for which you have given your consent in advance or those that you have provided us to be submitted or transferred to third parties determined as part of a procedure, litigation or a legal matter. Your personal data may only be transferred without the need to obtain your consent in the cases provided for in article 37 of the Federal Law for the Protection of Personal Data in Possession of Individuals.

EXERCISE OF ARCH RIGHTS AND/OR REVOCATION OF CONSENT TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

You have the right to access the personal data that MARANT WEDDINGS has in relation to your person and the details of the treatment of the same as well as the right to update or rectify them if they are inaccurate or incorrect, to instruct us their cancellation (when the purposes for which they were collected have been fulfilled) and to oppose the treatment of them for specific purposes or for legitimate cause for it. The exercise of the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition (ARCO rights) may be asserted by means of a free writing that complies with the minimum information and attachments described by the Federal Law for the Protection of Personal Data in Possession of Individuals and its Regulations, which must be sent by e-mail to contacto@marantweddings.com.

The request for the exercise of ARCO rights must contain at least:

  • name and address or other means of communicating the response to your request,
  • the documents proving their identity or, if applicable, legal representation,
  • a clear and precise description of the personal data with respect to which it is requested to exercise any of the ARCO rights,
  • the express manifestation to revoke their consent to the processing of their personal data and therefore, not to use it, if applicable, and
  • any other element that facilitates the identification of personal data.


Once your request is submitted in terms of the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the privacy department will communicate its response within a maximum period of 20 business days, counted from the date on which the request was received. In case of requiring further information and/or necessary documentation, the privacy department will contact you within 5 business days from the date of receipt of your request, so you will have 10 business days after such communication, to meet the requirement in question. Otherwise, your request will be considered as not submitted. In the event that the request is accepted, the responsible will have a period of 15 business days to implement it. In accordance with Article 32 of the Federal Law for the Protection of Personal Data in Possession of Individuals, the terms of resolution and implementation of the same may be extended only once if necessary, which will be notified to the owner of the personal data or his legal representative through the means of contact that has been established, the responsible will indicate the reasons for such extension.

The revocation and exercise of ARCO rights will be free of charge, as well as the reproduction in simple copy or sending by e-mail.

LIMITS TO THE USE AND/OR DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

In case you require to limit the use or disclosure of your personal data, you must request it to our privacy department at contacto@marantweddings.com and follow the same procedure as the one established for the exercise of ARCO rights.

USE OF COOKIES

MARANT WEDDINGS may use various technologies to improve the efficiency of its website, which include the use of cookies. Cookie is a brief piece of information that our website sends to your computer, which is stored on your hard drive allowing us to use the information stored in the cookie the next time you access our website to make it easier for you to use our website. You can have your browser notify you when you receive a cookie so that you can accept or reject it.

MODIFICATIONS TO THE PRIVACY NOTICE

MARANT WEDDINGS reserves the right to update and/or modify the terms of this privacy notice at any time, in which case, it will communicate such situation on its website www.marantweddings.com.
